Classes

At Local Color Gallery children’s art classes will again be offered this year. Projects will include painting, clay, sculpture, and mixed media work.

2011 Class will be Monday through Friday.

10:00 am. – 12:00 noon. (MI Time) Fee $ 70

We accept student ages 5-12.

Class will be July 11-15.

For the fourth year we will have an Art and Nature class. It will be held on August 8-12, from 10:00 am.-12:00 noon (MI Time) Fee $95. We accept students ages 5-13, and have three instructors. Part of the time we will spend exploring nature and part of the time we will be creating nature themed art projects. 

Two clay classes will be offered. One class will be held on Monday July 1th and Wednesday July 13th, from 12:30- 1:45 pm. for students ages 6-14. The second clay class will be held on Wednesday August 3rd and Friday August 5th, from 10:30-11:45 am. for students ages 16-14. Fee $29.  On the first day of class students create the project and on the second day they glaze it.

Art Camp July 11th-15th

Projects will include clay, painting, sculpture and mixed media.

Clay Class July 11th and July 13th

Students will create a clay birdbath.

Clay Class August 3rd and August 5th

Students will create a clay birdbath.

Art and Nature class August 8th-12th

Each day students will explore nature and create an art project. 

We will explore birds, trees, plants, bugs, animals, the environment and more.
